I fashion myself one of Santa's right hand men, in that I bring valuable information to homeowners, renters and property owners 12 months a year.

But when it comes to advice on the hottest holiday season gifts to bequeath to your favorite do-it-yourself-ers, we reached out for a couple of sources and will review their recommendations in this and another upcoming segment.

Our first resource was Laura Berrios at the Atlanta Journal Constitution (ajc.com),
who compiled these inspirations for all the good DIY-ers on your holiday gift list:
